He was happy to take on the job of project manager for filling the new warehouse. \u201cWe deliver many of the items we have in stock within 24 hours. Given the time pressure to get the central warehouse operational, we thought it would be useful to call in the help of a professional.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Martin turned to Jan De Graeve: \u201cIn a first phase, we supplied Jan with the raw data of roughly 3,500 warehouse items. It soon became apparent that additional information was needed about the dimensions and weights of the parts, in order to achieve a workable result. Jan got busy determining the optimal warehouse layout. He prepared the drawer divisions and double-checked everything before the warehouse was actually filled.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Martin is very satisfied with the result and the speed at which the warehouse was filled. \u201cJan also thoroughly prepared the upload of the new warehouse layout in the Kardex software.
